Modify OOB Publishing Approval workflow in SharePoint 2010 to add 2nd level approval step -

i looking customize out-of-box publishing approval workflow in sharepoint 2010, using spd 2010, in order add second approval step routed new group, "publishers", before pages , other publishing assets published on site.

this public-facing internet site on sp2010 using publishing site template.

i have site done, , default publishing approval workflow works fine, need add 2nd approval step.

my questions are:

  1. can done sharepoint designer 2010 worfklows? not looking start scratch, rather "extend" oob publishing approval workflow, adding new step.
  2. is best customize existing workflow , save on it, or should "copy , modify"? if latter, how associate new custom publishing approval workflow publishing site template, replaces oob 1 pages libraries, master page libraries, etc? have several sub sites within site collection, workflow need used site in site collection.

go list contains pages have approval workflow associated, ootb go site actions - view site content - click on pages document library. on library go workflows associated library. ootb have page approval workflow. should able click on workflow , edit settings add layer of approval. hope helps

windows - Python Service Installation - "Could not find PythonClass entry" -

i working on building python service. inducing error, not sure inducing it. ps c:\...> python .\file.py debug debugging service myservice - press ctrl+c stop. error 0xc00000f4 - not find service's pythonclass entry in registry error 1814 - specified resource name cannot found in image file. error 0xc0000080 - not locate module name in python class string (ie, no '.') this error coming pythonservicemessages.mc in pythonwin32. it turns out error result caused exception being thrown , python script dying off.
